Great Mallorn Nut
A one-time gift from a White Deer to a Friend of Lothlorien. Plant it to grow a giant Mallorn; leave room for its crown and roots.
Obtaining
At Friend Harmony (+10), offer a Mallorn Acorn to an unleashed White Deer inside Lothlorien and follow its guidance. Each deer gives one nut in its lifetime.
Harvest Great Mallorn Nut: Planted Great Mallorn Sprout: 1 x Great Mallorn Nut.
Usage
Plant to grow a Great Mallorn 40 blocks wide and 54 blocks tall including roots reaching 5 blocks below ground. The sprout needs light level 9 or more. Before growing, it checks for built blocks in the tree's space. If it finds an obstruction, it stays a sprout and warns nearby players with the block name and coordinates. Break the sprout to recover the nut and replant farther from buildings. Natural terrain and unstripped logs may be replaced, so leave space around anything you want to preserve. Bone meal does not speed growth.
